Continuing Education Workshops For Mental Heath Professionals
Clinical Practice Enrichment Series - FAQ
Are these workshops APA approved?
Dr. Wright, co-founder of CPES, is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Dr. Wright maintains responsibility for the programs and their contents. All of the CPES programs provide CE credits required for licensure for psychologists. Whenever possible, CPES provides CE credits to other mental health professionals attending our training sessions.
When will I get my CE certificate?
For in-person workshops, certificates are presented at the conclusion of each workshop upon receipt of the workshop evaluation to be completed by the participant. For webinars, certificates will be emailed to participants following receipt of the program evaluation, which is emailed directly to participants after the conclusion of the webinar.
If the webinar provides only 2 CE credits in Ethics, how will I get my 3rd CE credit in Ethics?
Participants can attend the CPES Ethics webinar/workshop to be held on Friday, October 30th. Those participants attending both CPES Ethics webinars/workshops can then apply extra Ethics credits to their general CE credit requirements.
Do I have to have a Zoom account to access a webinar?
No, a Zoom account is not required to attend our webinar.
Do I need to have a webcam or video camera to participate in the webinar?
No, you are not required to have a webcam to participate in a webinar held by Zoom. However, without a camera or webcam, you will not be able to transmit video of yourself. You will continue to be able to listen and speak during the webinar and view the webcam video of other participants.
Can I register on the day of the webinar?
No, not at this time. Registration will end at midnight the night before the webinar.
What do you do with the registration information?

Will I receive a confirmation letter?

Confirmations are sent to registrants until two weeks prior to the workshop.
What happens if I cannot attend the workshop after I register?
